Agritourism Malga Piè

The eco-friendly pearl of Soraga

Soraga, a small rural mountain village in the province of Trento, is one of the most popular destinations for holidaymakers in the Fassa Valley. Above the centre of the village, immersed in the tranquillity of the pastures at the foot of the forest, lies Malga Piè, an eco-friendly, family-run farmhouse with restaurant, hotel and wellness area. Its quiet and isolated location, yet convenient to many paths, is ideal for those who wish to reconnect with nature and enjoy the typical flavours of the mountains.

The structure is built in wood following the principles of green building for a lower environmental impact, and is surrounded by a large garden with a spectacular view of the Dolomites. This is the perfect space to spend some quality time outdoors among the children’s games, the vegetable garden and the farm animals (cows, goats, ponies, draft horses, donkeys, chickens). In fine weather, you can also eat outdoors surrounded by the magnificent panorama, the lush meadows and the warm summer sun.

Malga Piè Restaurant: the flavours of the Val di Fassa

The dishes on the Malga Piè farmhouse menu are homemade because they are inspired by traditional Trentino cuisine. Not only for the recipes, but above all for the freshness of the products such as meat, eggs, vegetables and cheeses at 0 km, coming from the farm’s livestock and vegetable garden.

The passion for nature, good food and animals has been handed down by the Brunel family from generation to generation, starting in 1960 with the founder grandfather Ferdinando, and ending today with Erika, the current owner.

In addition to lunch and dinner, the speciality of the malga are genuine snacks, based on home-made Trentino products. You can choose from various options, accompanied by an excellent glass of wine or a warm apple juice:

  • Merenda della malga, a platter of farmhouse cured meats and cheeses;
  • Sweet snack, a taste of the house desserts such as apple strudel;
  • Detox snack, a vegetarian proposal for a wellness break.

Finally, an abundant breakfast buffet with many fresh products such as jams, bread, yoghurt and milk is included for guests in the Malga Piè hotel rooms.

The comfort of Malga Piè’s wooden rooms with panoramic views

The Malga Piè farmhouse has six recently renovated hotel rooms, all with panoramic views of the unspoilt landscape around the hotel. Each one is made of natural, untreated materials, especially wood from the neighbouring forests, creating a warm and cosy atmosphere that further amplifies the feeling of serenity that only the mountains can provide.

The rooms measure approximately 20 square metres each and ensure maximum comfort thanks to:

  • A private balcony with a view of the Dolomites;
  • A private bathroom with shower;
  • A covered parking space;
  • Half board;
  • Wellness centre.

For people with disabilities, there are two double rooms designed without architectural barriers, ensuring freedom of movement.
