Cross-country skiing

Op, op! Cross-country skiing is a discipline for everyone, seriously: all it takes is a bit of balance, a “minimal” equipment and a little bit of desire for physical activity, compensated by an exceptional wellbeing.

Every resort offers cross-country skiing trails. A few hours with the instructor to learn the best technique between skating (skating) and alternating pace (the classic technique) is enough to allow you to ski independently with harmonious movements and dosed breath, discovering fascinating landscapes in a silent world, surrounded by breathtaking landscapes among woods and plateaus, observed from a distance by wildlife.

For experienced cross-country skiers, the Dolomites have exceptional circuits, where famous competitions take place: the Marcialonga in the valleys of Fiemme and Fassa, the Millegrobbe on the Alpe Cimbra, the Val Pusteria Ski Marathon, the Gran Fondo della Val Casies, the Dobbiaco-Cortina…

Did you know there is also a cross-country ski pass? It is called SuperNordicSkipass and allows you to cover a thousand kilometers of slopes in Trentino, Veneto and Emilia Romagna. The SuperNordicSkipass cross-country ski centers guarantee high quality standards, and accompany skiing with snowshoeing, pleasant moments of relaxation in wellness centers and various other proposals. All the centers offer cross-country skiing, cross-country shoes, sledge snowshoes and bobsleigh rental services and there is the possibility to improve your technique with the numerous ski schools. Finally, a webcam system guarantees a daily view of the slopes from home.
