Alps or Dolomites?

Alps or Dolomites? Here are the differences:

The Alps are the largest mountain range in Europe, stretching about 1,200 km through eight countries, from France to Austria.

The Alps include several sub-chains, such as the Western Alps, the Central Alps and the Eastern Alps.

The Dolomites, on the other hand, are a sub-chain of the Eastern Alps and are mainly found in Italy.

The peculiar composition of the dolomite rock in the Dolomites makes it possible to observe a unique and wonderful phenomenon called Enrosadira.

This phenomenon occurs during summer sunsets, when sunlight strikes the dolomite, which is rich in carbonates, causing the rock to take on hues ranging from red, pink, yellow and orange.
