Agordino peaks, beyond Marmolada

How to get to Agordino and Marmolada

Agordino is easily reached by car via the SR203 Agordina, which connects Belluno to Agordo and the main towns of the valley. Coming from Bolzano you can take the SS48 through Canazei and Passo Fedaia, while from Cortina you follow the SS51 and SS641.

For those travelling by public transport, the nearest railway station is Belluno, from which there are also direct buses to Agordo, Rocca Pietore and Malga Ciapela. During the winter and summer season, there are active ski buses and shuttles that connect the main ski areas and tourist areas.

Agordino Villages

Agordino is a land rich in charming villages, each with its own identity and unique attractions for visitors. Agordo, the capital of the valley, stands out for its charming Piazza della Libertà, surrounded by historic buildings, and for the Planetarium, an ideal place for those who love astronomy. Alleghe, on the other hand, is located on the shores of the lake of the same name, a perfect destination for water sports in summer and skiing in the Civetta area in winter.

Canale d’Agordo is known for being the birthplace of Pope Luciani and hosts the Albino Luciani Museum, dedicated to the life of the “Pope of the Smile”. Cencenighe Agordino is a crossroads between several Dolomite valleys and offers beautiful trails along the Torrente Cordevole and enchanting waterfalls. Colle Santa Lucia, a small Ladin village, offers spectacular views of the Pelmo Group and the Val Fiorentina.
