Val di Fiemme is dotted with villages, each with its own identity, but together they tell the authentic soul of this Dolomite region. At the southern end of the valley lies Capriana, a small village surrounded by greenery, perfect for those seeking peace and less-traveled trails: from here, numerous walks lead to Val di Cembra and the surrounding forests. Nearby, Valfloriana is famous for its Carnevale dei Matòci, one of Trentino’s most captivating folkloric events, featuring wooden masks and processions that wind through the hamlets during winter.

Heading down towards the heart of the valley, you’ll find Castello-Molina di Fiemme, rich in historical and natural landmarks, including the evocative Doss Zelor nature trail and the Rio Stava gorge, a place of remembrance and reflection.
