The structure is built in wood following the principles of green building for a lower environmental impact, and is surrounded by a large garden with spectacular views of the Dolomites. The dishes on the menu of the Malga Piè farm are homemade, inspired by traditional Trentino cuisine. Not only for the recipes, but especially for the freshness of products such as meat, eggs, vegetables and cheeses at km 0, from the farm and the garden of the structure.

The passion for nature, good food and animals is passed on from generation to generation by the Brunel family since 1960 with the founder grandfather Ferdinando, to reach today to Erika, the current owner.

In addition to lunch and dinner, the specialty of the hut are genuine snacks, based on homemade products from Trentino. You can choose from various options, accompanied by a great glass of wine or a hot apple juice:

• Merenda della malga, a board of cured meats and cheeses from the farm;
• Sweet snack, a taste of the house sweets like apple strudel;
• Detox snack, a vegetarian proposal for a wellness break.

Finally, for guests sleeping at Hotel Malga Piè a large buffet breakfast with loads of fresh products such as jams, bread, yoghurt and milk is provided.

The Malga Piè farm has six recently renovated hotel rooms, all with panoramic view of the unspoilt landscape around the hotel. Each one is made with untreated natural materials, especially wood from the surrounding forests, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere that amplifies even more the feeling of serenity that only the mountains can give.

The rooms measure about 20 square meters each and ensure maximum comfort thanks to:

• The excursion to Ciampedie, from Vigo di Fassa to the homonymous refuge Ciampedie;
• Passo Fedaia with the museum of the Great War, and Passo San Pellegrino;
• The cycle path of the Dolomites of Fiemme and Fassa;
• The ski area of Moena and the track of the Marcialonga for cross-country skiing.
