The Castelir: a perfect marriage
Between the wish for a holiday and real comfort
Why do you choose to go on holiday? To make a wish come true. If yours is to carve out a stay in a little corner of mountain paradise, cosy and with only a select few, then Il Castelir’s offering is perfect for you. The immersion in nature is total: the seven suites rise on a beautiful meadow, a kingdom of wild animals who greedily graze on the expanse of grass and then peacefully return into the depths of the nearby forest.
How could you not feel joy in a place where the comfort is complete, thanks to the ecological design choices made by the owners, Rolando and Graziella? The whole structure is the result of a careful design which favours natural and local materials: the smell of wood from the Val di Fiemme embraces the senses, and quartzite from the Val di Vizze is on display in the outdoor swimming pool.
What a unique sensation to arrive, immediately take off your shoes and walk barefoot around the pool, with water that’s cool in the summer and heated during the colder months!
And it’s when you enter the hall that your curiosity grows and the emotion of seeing such beauty gives you butterflies in your stomach: it’s love at first sight. Such light! Such large spaces! Such attention to detail! Such outpourings of welcome! It’s clear that for Rolando and Graziella every guest is unique, and they’ve thought of everything.
Il Castelir offers a relaxation area with Finnish sauna, Turkish bath and aromatic shower. There’s also the “water lounge”. That’s how it was nicknamed by the people who tried it out for size: a hydromassage which looks out over the splendid landscaped garden. The more athletically inclined will find the gym and a massage chair will melt away any tension. Just a short distance away is the clay tennis court. A little further away, the cross-country track of the famous Marcialonga (which is held on the last Sunday in January).
One piece of advice, or rather two: take it easy in the morning, breakfast is served until eleven, and don’t for any reason miss out on Graziella’s strudel: delicious!
