Flying in the Dolomites

Well, you certainly missed this adventure. And if you have already experienced it, even better: you will surely want to taste that pure adrenaline that only a helicopter flight can give you.

A panoramic tour to see the Sassolungo, the Sella, the Marmolada, the Catinaccio, the Tofane, the Tre Cime di Lavaredo from above is an opportunity not to be missed if you stay in one of the magical valleys at the foot of the Dolomites UNESCO World Heritage Site: realizing how magnificent the geography of Trentino Alto Adige / South Tyrol is when you see where Lake Braies is nestled or the Sciliar plateau, the largest in Europe, will leave you breathless.

The brothers Marco and Gabriel Kostner, pilots with considerable experience of flying in the mountains, together with their team Elikos are waiting for you at their heliport in Pontives, at the entrance of Val Gardena to take you high up. With them at the controls, you will experience an emotion to tell. You choose the duration of the flight: 15 minutes for a taste, 30 minutes for an extensive “reconnaissance” or 50 minutes for an exclusive tour.

The top of the top in winter is to use the Elikos services for a ski transfer from Passo Gardena or the Pralongià Refuge in Alta Badia to reach Malga Cianel at the foot of the Marmolada or the Averau Refuge at the Cinque Torri, a stone’s throw from Cortina d’Ampezzo, for unforgettable descents.

How do you keep Elikos pilots in training? Not only with tourist flights and ski transfers, but also accompanying photographers for shots from unreachable angles and directors for productions of commercials of famous brands and exceptional film productions. In addition, for more than thirty years, the Elikos Company has been dedicated to transport loads and assembly flights of up to 1400 kg. Any examples? Assembly of cable cars, transport of timber and concrete, shelter supply, artificial avalanche triggering. In short: a serious commitment to safety in the mountains.
