Rosetta Vertical Trail Run is a mountain running race of great charm, which winds along the west side of the slopes of Cimon della Pala up to Cima Rosetta.

It starts from the famous village of San Martino di Castrozza and climbs up under the cabins via Colverde to the mountain hut of the same name. From here the itinerary takes the historic path 701, completely restored a few years ago by the Paneveggio Pale di San Martino Natural Park Authority, to climb up steep bends in the direction of Dente del Cimòn, cross under Cima Corona, reach the Rosetta cable car pylon and then the arrival of the cable car. With a last short vertical jump you reach the summit cross of Cima Rosetta, where the race ends.

The view from the Cima is spectacular both towards the majesty of the Cimon and the famous and lunar Altipiano delle Pale, as well as the view over the bottom of the Primiero valley and the crown of mountains that surround it at 360°.
